Jamie Bestwick's Virtual Gravel World Championship - State College, PA Edition
While most people probably associate Jamie Bestwick with his prolific BMX career, he's recently been logging a lot of miles on his drop-bar bike. When his calendar packed full of major gravel events was totally scrambled due to the pandemic, Jamie jumped at the opportunity to document his virtual ride for the Gravel World Championships. Jamie, a Stan's ambassador, rounded up his friends Brett Beard and Tony Wolf to take on a 150-mile loop around State College, Pennsylvania. Although they did not get to ride through the rolling hills of Lincoln, Nebraska, we think they were still able to have quite the adventure. Three riders, 450+ combined miles of gravel, 0 flats.

"Mile 100 for me was just the start of 50 tortuous miles, but what an amazing day. The beauty that we saw out on the gravel roads of central Pennsylvania was stunning..."
Brett Beard
"Big days on the bike usually equate to some of the best adventures that can be had! That's exactly what this day was, a great opportunity to get out and adventure."
Tony Wolf
"I'm glad Jamie and the folks at Gravel Worlds put this together in the absence of the actual event. Shout out to Stans for keeping us all rolling for 9 hours!"
