GT FACTORY RACING

With a team page called Fun is Serious Business, the GT Factory Team is all about good times and fast runs. The squad is packed with some of the most talented Enduro and DH racers in the world, including Martin Maes, Noga Korem, Joey Foresta and Wyn Masters. Every bit as important: these are also some of the nicest people you can meet at a race, and that's what it's all about.

Martin Maes

21 years old from Belgium. Professional enduro rider for GT bikes since 2013. Winner of the EWS of Finale Ligure in 2016 and twice winner of the dual Slalom of the Sea Otter classic. Love riding everything on two wheels!

Noga Korem

From a small village in Israel named Harashim

Born in 23/08/1991

I started to ride when I was 14 years old, I loved the adrenaline, the speed, the nature and just loved riding bikes, I did some local DH races, road , and XCO race. When I was 16 I won the national camps in the elite category in DH and Cadet champion in XCO and Road. When I was 17 I deiced that I want to be a pro rider, since then I did 9 years of XC races all over the world, I finished 5th at the world champs in 2009 (junior category), got into the Israeli army for two years. After the army service I had few more good years of races with some ups and down, I won 3 national championships and had some top 15 results in the U23 category over the world. In the end of 2016 I decided to retire from XC racing, I did't had the passion any more and did't enjoyed it as I did before. Few weeks after my friend convinced me to try one EWS race before I retire, somehow they managed to convinced me and 4 weeks after I found myself in Valberg - France at the 7th round of the EWS. I loved it so much already in training, after the first day of the race I found out that I am 9th and the next day ended up with a 6th place at my first EWS =) 2 weeks later I went to my second EWS in Finale had a lot of fun and finished 7th.

After those 2 amazing races I decided to go for all the EWS races in 2017 as a privateer. As an EWS rookie I was super surprised when I finished 4th at the second race of the season in Tasmania. about a month later I was even more surprised when I managed to finish 3rd in Madeira (the 3rd EWS of the season). I finished the season with a broken hand (from the training Finale), 7th at the general world ranking, the EWS breakthrough of the year. And the most exciting part of the season was the contract that I got from GT Factory racing for the next 2 years =)

I am super excited to start my first season as a professional rider with this awesome team, I still have a lot more to learn and I am sure that my team mates and stuff will help me with it. 2018 lets go!

Joey Foresta

Although only 16 years old, Joey has already built himself an impressive resume. In addition to 8 US National championships in Downhill and Dual Slalom as a Junior, he finished 2nd in Pro Dual Slalom at Sea Otter at 14 years old and then followed it up with a 3rd place at US Champs. Joey has always enjoyed competing against older competitors and pushing his limits. He is excited to embark on his first year on the WC circuit as a Junior and looking forward to riding and racing some of the best locations on the planet in 2018.
