Emulsifite Technology
How Emulsifite Technology Works
Emulsifite surfactant additives in Stan’s Biobased Wet Chain Lube allow for particles to wrap around oil droplets and drag them off the chain when applied with high pressure water. Due to the low concentration of emulsifites, it takes a heavy, continuous flow of water from a hose to cause the emulsifites to activate.

Emulsifiers help remove grime buildup from wet conditions, making it easier for riders who clean their drivetrain regularly to keep it spotless. Emulsifite Technology makes it possible for riders to pedal through rain, puddles, and even streams without losing all of the oil, but still easily clean it off using high-pressure water from a hose and a brush.

How We Utilize Biobased Triple Esters
Biobased triple ester technology adds functionality to Stan’s Biobased chain lube and ForkBoost products. Triple Esters add superior oxidative stability to petroleum-based oils, as well as a dynamic boost in lubricity and anti-wear. Advanced biotechnology and materials science were harnessed to create a triple ester oil from triglyceride molecules by blending and reacting certain modified vegetable oils, oleochemicals, and antioxidants. This gives the molecules optimal polarity, molecular weight and film-forming ability to bind and coat metal surfaces, providing exceptional lubricity and protection against wear. This results in a very smooth and efficient damping, a long suspension and seal life, with no environmental compromise.
